Monday 30th March
Star Data Centre 3 has officially been declared a "No Hard Hat Site". An exciting time for the project as the realisation of a live facility gets closer, and even more Star customers will have the opportunity to view the facility pre-launch.
Thursday 26th March
The furniture for the Network Operations Centre and Offices was delivered today. Decorating of the customer facing areas continues and the project is on course for a successful opening on 2nd April.
Tuesday 20th January
Our custom manufactured server frames were delivered this week after the completion of the internal construction work.
Our team of data centre engineers began the work of installing the first 50 frames, which is scheduled to last until next week. Once complete, this will deliver our phase 1 capacity for over 1000 servers.
Monday 19th January
After completion of the chilled water pipework, we began the work of installing the pumping system onto plinths in the exterior plant area.
The full system of pipes and pumps is connected together with airline standard welding and is protected against debris by two huge power station grade filters, which were also installed this week.
